The University of Warwick, one of the UK’s leading universities, has expanded its existing ONELAN Digital Signage installation to display vital Covid information across its students’ halls of residence. This makes it one of the largest deployments of signage within a UK University.
Having recognized the importance of communication during these rapidly changing times, installing signage screens in key locations, such as in the post room, to display the most up to date guidance to help students feel safe and informed became one of the University’s highest priorities as they welcomed students onto campus.
Not only can the signage display the latest local Covid restrictions, it can also display student events and activities, plus live data feeds such as weather and local transport updates. With content updated centrally from a single CMS, the residences team no longer need to rely on distributing paper-based notices to communicate vital information to students, saving valuable time and resources. Students also feel more engaged, which in turn helps to support their overall mental well-being.
