Last week saw the return of Tripleplay’s annual User Group and Partner Conference. Hosted at Sadler’s Wells Theatre in central London, a Tripleplay client site, this modern, state-of-the-art theatre was the perfect location to welcome in our clients and partners.
The Technology on show
This year our guests had access to demo pods where our end users and partners could receive demonstrations of the latest and greatest features in the Tripleplay solution and also have a sneak preview of what is to come in the Caveman 1.0 software release at the end of the year. This gave the day a more interactive feel and allowed delegates to have intimate demonstrations of the key features of our Digital Signage, IPTV and Video Streaming Software solutions.
These break out sessions allowed partners and end users to see exactly the technology they wanted to see, as well as explore areas and features of the product that they have been unfamiliar with.
What did we show?
TripleSign Digital Signage: World-class Digital Signage with integrated IPTV platform, supporting up to 4K resolution, touchscreen, event triggers and a variety of other features. TripleSign now supports LG webOS, Samsung Tizen, BrightSign and Amino Kamai 650 4K.
TripleView Global Dashboard: A brand new app to monitor and manage geographically disparate server deployments for use by administrators and network operators.
Media Video Player (MVP): Delivering secure and encrypted IPTV streams, VOD content, music and PDFs direct to PC, Mac and Thin Client desktops via our desktop app; the MVP.
Mobile Media Application (MMA): Available for Android and iOS, allows media delivery for online and offline viewing, chat, forms, feedback and streaming of live IPTV content.
Interactive IPTV Portal: Delivering IPTV, VOD content, BYOD, BYOC, PMS integration and many other features using our Interactive IPTV Portal. Now available on Philips Android TVs and 2017 model Samsung and LG Hospitality Smart TVs and Tripleplay PlayMedia Content Sharing App.
The User Group
It truly was standing room only for our User Group with more than 80 people in attendance. Extra chairs were added and there was not a spare seat in sight – we couldn’t have asked for a better turn out. CEO Steve Rickless kicked off the day and our clients were treated to some great guest speakers; Rodney Ward from Daytona International Speedway, Roy Yaoz from Triple Jump Technologies and Matt Quirk from HPE.
After a sneak-peak at the Tripleplay road map and demonstrations of new features, we hosted very interactive and exciting round table discussions; providing an opportunity for our delegates to impact the evolution of their product. It was great to have some positive and constructive feedback and to generate ideas about potential features and avenues the technology could take in the future.
The Partner Conference
It is crucial for us to maintain strong partnerships with our resellers and integrators. This year we saw partners travelling to us from all over Europe including Spain, France, Slovenia, Russia and Switzerland as well as from the USA and all corners of the UK. We are extremely lucky to have such a loyal partner base taking such a genuine interest in the platform, enabling them to offer their clients the best solutions for digital signage & IPTV.
We were incredibly proud to use our Partner Conference as an opportunity to announce our first batch of UK Platinum and Gold Partners. Our UK Partner Programme gives us the opportunity to reward partners achieving not only good financial results but also showing commitment to training, development and also the Tripleplay brand.
Platinum Partners: AVMI, proAV
Gold Partners: IVC Technologies, Viewpoint AV
Thank you to everybody who took part over the two days, 150 delegates in total and to our technology partners who supported the day; Amino, HPE, XMA, BrightSign, Samsung, Peerless and Triple Jump.
