Tripleplay User Group 2018: Together We Innovate

On Thursday 27th September, Chelsea FC opened its doors to Tripleplay clients from across the UK and Ireland for the fourth annual Tripleplay User Group. With over 100 end users registered, representing around 80 organisations, it was by far the biggest User Group event in Tripleplay history, and the fourth annual conference that has been held in the region.

“Together we innovate”

Innovation is the central pillar of Tripleplay’s road-map, and thus was the central theme at the User Group this year- backed by the fact the Caveman software platform has included more feature releases and solution enhancements than any other previous release.

‘Together we innovate’ focussed on the importance of innovation and highlighted the fundamental need for feedback from clients and open, honest round-table discussions to propel the product to new heights. Tripleplay’s User Group round-table session is a highlight every year, and the observations and suggestions of our clients allow Tripleplay to develop a road-map that is satisfying the needs and desires of our existing client base.

The Tripleplay User Group is always a great opportunity to talk about exciting new technology releases coming in the platform, and have the development team on hand to demonstrate to our End Users.

Some of these included:

Alongside our technical demonstrations, Tripleplay also shared new client device support set to be included in Caveman 2.0 and enhancements and feature updates coming with the next software release.

More than just Tripleplay

To help ensure our end users experienced a worthwhile day out of the office, a number of guest speakers were invited to present throughout the event. We were honoured to be joined by Chris Frazer, AV Technical Manager of Chelsea FC, who walked delegates through the club’s journey with Tripleplay, and its adoption of Tripleplay technology at the Stadium, training ground, hotel and their mobile player app.

We were also pleased to welcome Lizzie Liebenhals, from Halls & Halls, who gave an insightful presentation to our Sports and Large Venue group, discussing the importance of impactful, relevant content and creating a solid, comprehensive content strategy for venues, especially those who are primarily customer-facing.

We also invited Midwich, Tripleplay’s newly appointed distributor for the UK and Ireland to share their vision alongside Tripleplay, and discuss the technology solutions they offer in the AV/IT space.

Each year, Tripleplay is always thrilled and delighted to welcome some great companies on board as event partners, and this year we were overwhelmed with support from the industry. Our partners this year included Amino Communications, BrightSign, HPE, Midwich, LG, Samsung and XMA.

Thank you to all who attended and supported, together we are innovators!

P.S. Special thank you to our friends at Connect Live who provided expert live event AV support.
