With over 44,000 delegates, InfoComm lived up to its name as the largest AV event in North America. AV brands and professionals from all over the world joined together in Orlando to demonstrate and discover the latest technology the industry had to offer.
Tripleplay sets itself apart as a market leader for digital signage and IPTV delivery and InfoComm was an opportunity to show delegates that any user within an organisation can use the Tripleplay platform due to the simplicity of its CMS.
With three days of non-stop on stand demos, InfoComm, Orlando was the biggest and best show that Tripleplay has ever had in the region, with attendees exceeding expectations in terms of quality and numbers.
See what was on show this year with Tripleplay;
TripleSign Multiview is one of the most exciting recent innovations from Tripleplay, which allows users to deliver up to 6 tiled multicast streams within a Digital Signage layout, from a single media player with a single digital signage license.
We demonstrated this on a number of screens, both in a portrait and landscape orientation and as part of a 6 screen videowall which was a huge attraction to those visiting our stand. Multiview doesn’t require extensive and expensive hardware and is a cost-effective way to stream many TV channels to fewer screens for a much lower cost.
Multiview has a number of applications, such as;
Video Everywhere: Deliver video wherever and whenever
People want to be able to access videos at any time of the day or night, in any location. For many organisations, the ability for staff to watch either live video or downloaded content to watch offline is essential for distributing corporate messaging. The Tripleplay platform allows just that, with secure encryption and offline capabilities, making sure companies can distribute valuable content/video/comms whilst keeping in line with industry security standards. This was demonstrated through our Mobile Media App (MMA) for Android and iOS, Media Video Player (MVP) for laptop and desktop and TripleTV for large format displays.
Simple to use CMS
Tripleplay has endeavoured to enhance client experience with ease-of-use at the forefront of all software releases. Some of the features enhanced as part of the latest release that were demonstrated included;
With Tripleplay’s drag and drop layout editor, users are able to update their content with ease and simplicity. In a few simple steps, content can be created by dragging the content required on a layout, such as 4k graphics, video windows, widgets, clocks, RSS feeds etc. Although many of those looking to install the Tripleplay solution have a technical background, most of those who would be using the platform on a day to day basis would be less technical, often users do not have lots of technical training, i.e. marketing/branding teams/HR and this ensures that the process is simple and easy for anyone.
Being able to update content quickly was something that impressed numerous attendees. With QuickDrop, it only takes 3 simple steps to upload any content to any screen; click, drag, drop. This can be used in a sports environment to dynamically change new pricing, or in an office environment when content needs to be changed daily, without taking an employee away from normal workloads. As well as PowerPoint, PDF, image and video, we can now deliver Excel for digital menu boards.
With InfoComm being one of the biggest events in the calendar for Tripleplay, we are already looking at ways that that we can make next year in Las Vegas even more successful. Through the security, the encryption, the features, the functionality and the ease of use of the platform, Tripleplay is ensuring that it stays at the forefront of innovation and client experience.
