London, UK 15/02/2018: Tripleplay has been shortlisted for a Sports Technology Award for our work with Cardiff City Football Club. We are thrilled to be recognised for our work in the sports industry and hopefully will take away the award for ‘Most Innovative Sports Partnership’ when the ceremony takes place in May 2018.


The technology of choice for many of the world’s leading stadia, arenas and sports teams, Tripleplay has worked with Cardiff City to deliver an improved fan experience, better engagement and a proven, award winning, return on investment through its implementation of Tripleplay’s digital signage and IPTV solution.


Furthermore, whilst delivering content to 150 screens in their stadium, Cardiff City also uses the technology at its four ‘House of Sport’ complexes, its first team training centre, Academy base and Foundation, representing a club-wide implementation and solution that benefits all members of its staff.


Tripleplay marketing manager, James Keen, was thrilled to be a finalist for the awards again this year, commenting, “We have a very open, honest and valuable relationship with our friends at Cardiff City. Communication is two-way and we are trying our hardest to help each other; us to enhance Cardiff City’s match day experience and them to feedback into product development. We’ve come a long way together and being recognised for that relationship makes us very proud.”

Tripleplay has previously won a Sports Technology Award in 2016 for ‘Best Technology for Commercial Returns’.
