Tripleplay Services and Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club shortlisted for Project InAVation Awards 2012

LONDON, UK / ISE, Amsterdam, 27th January 2012: Tripleplay Services, specialist in digital television, signage and video streaming software, and Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club, a leading English Championship club on the south coast of the UK, have been selected as a finalist for the Project InAVation Awards 2012 in the category Most InAVative Leisure & Entertainment Facility. The submitted entry features the IP Television and Digital Signage project developed for Brighton and Hove Albion Football’s Club Amex Community Stadium. The club was looking for an end to end video delivery platform that was flexible enough to provide all of its current and future requirements and yet be tailored to the needs of the various target audiences who visit the stadium on match and none match days. “Tripleplay’s software has provided us with the ability to capture and deliver live match day feeds in less than a second, and ensure our fans are entertained during their time at the stadium. The flexibility of the platform has enabled us to manage our content and target information to specific audiences, at different locations, at different times within the stadium,” says Martin Perry, Chief Executive, Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club. “They delivered the project on time and within the given budget. We couldn’t have asked for more and kicked off the new season in our brand new high tech stadium with an IPTV system that has met our needs perfectly.” “Being selected as a finalist for this award is a recognition to the dedication and commitment of our team in providing the most innovative and leading edge technology to our clients”, says Steve Rickless, Tripleplay’s CEO. Winners of each category will be announced at the InAVation Awards gala dinner on Wednesday 1st of February at Fifteen restaurant in Amsterdam.
