London, UK, May 4th, 2022; Tripleplay announces the evolution of its Digital Engagement Platform with the release of Tripleplay Cloud 1.4, which includes support for new Tripleplay IPTV and Caching servers facilitating capability of a hybrid infrastructure.
With an enterprise-level hybrid deployment model, live TV can be delivered to users across a mixed network of endpoints including desktop and mobile, as well as providing the ability to add encrypted live TV content to digital signage. Live streams can be configured locally on a Tripleplay server and then administered via its Cloud management interface.
Tripleplay is one of the few manufacturers able to offer hybrid deployments allowing organizations to benefit from the advantages of a scalable cloud solution, while still retaining control and enhancing security of their on-premise hardware.
Additionally, Tripleplay’s IPTV and Caching servers help organizations to reduce internet bandwidth usage as content is downloaded once to the server where it can then be served on the local area network to devices. This preserves internet bandwidth for other systems running on the network and offers a cost-effective solution.
Steve Rickless Tripleplay CEO is delighted with the releases, commenting, “As a result of our continued strategic investment in cloud technologies, we continue to lead the way as one of the only manufacturers to support hybrid IPTV alongside our core on-premise and cloud platforms.”
He continued, “We’re looking forward to showcasing these enhancements and our other solutions at ISE in Barcelona and InfoComm in Las Vegas.”
