London, UK, 19/2/2018: ISE was an incredible show for many reasons, with over 80,000 attendees walking the halls, 1,200 exhibitors and the leading lights of the AV world present to demonstrate the latest and greatest technology the industry has to offer; Tripleplay was amongst them.
Following the release of its biggest ever software platform, Caveman 1.0; Tripleplay wowed crowds with an incredible increase in the number of devices supported in its digital signage and IPTV platform and the addition of some world-class features to enhance ease of use, reduce training requirements and improve user experience

Group Marketing Manager, James Keen was delighted with the vendor’s week in Amsterdam, “ISE is always an important calendar date for Tripleplay, but this year blew all others out of the water. The show was incredible, credit should go to the organisers for that, but we also released an impressive new software platform on day one of the event and it didn’t disappoint the hundreds who stopped by for a demo.”
In the new release Tripleplay officially launched support for a number of new devices including LG webOS, Samsung SSP Tizen, BrightSign and Philips Android TV as well as announcing enhancements to its user interface and user apps and support for full 4K/HEVC workflow from source to screen.
New in the Caveman 1.0 software launch is TripleView Global Dashboard, a product which gives a system administrator a global view of all Tripleplay servers on their network, allowing them to monitor status and rectify any problems more quickly.
There was also an improvement to the Tripleplay Digital Signage app QuickDrop allowing users to instantly update on-screen content in a single click, drag and drop. QuickDrop was launched in late 2016 with support for PowerPoint, videos and images, with the addition of Excel (CSV) uploading added in Caveman 1.0 allowing instant updating of pricing, data and statistics without any need for 3rd party software integration or user training.
Keen continued, “Our engineers have developed some incredible features and enhancements to our platform this year giving us even more advantages over other single platform IPTV and Digital Signage solutions and having an opportunity to get instant feedback from the market at ISE is invaluable to us.
