London, UK, 20/07/2021: Tripleplay is delighted that its project at Vinney Green Secure Children’s Home, ‘Supporting Rehabilitation and Behaviour Management’ has been shortlisted in the prestigious AV Awards 2021 in the Public Sector Project of the Year Category.
The project focused on delivering entertainment services as a reward to the young people within the Home, using the Tripleplay IPTV platform to give controlled and earned access to age-appropriate content as a clear and tangible incentive for good behaviour.
Since the project was completed, there have been noticeable improvements in behaviour, with engagement extending to the classroom thereby ensuring less disruption to education, and so improving life chances.
Commenting on the project, Steve Rickless, Tripleplay CEO said, “We work across a diverse range of projects, however this one with Vinney Green Secure Children’s Home really stands out. It’s all too easy to miss the human impact of our technology, but this is a clear example as to how Tripleplay, working closely with the team at the Home has had a direct and positive impact on the lives of troubled young people, “
He concluded, “We’re delighted that the team involved has been recognised with this award nomination and we wish the best of luck to all those also shortlisted.”
Now in their 22nd year, the AV Awards are renowned worldwide for promoting best practice, raising standards and rewarding excellence and innovation across the AV industry.
The 2021 AV Awards will take place as a hybrid event on 5 November. There will be an in-person ceremony at London Evolution, subject to prevailing government guidelines, and the event will also be live streamed enabling everyone who is unable or unwilling to attend the physical event, to take part.
