Sydney, Australia, 23/5/2014: Tripleplay is proud to announce that our IPTV solution, TripleTV, has been chosen by leading iron ore mining and export company Atlas Iron and implemented by, leading ICT solutions and services provider, UXC Connect. Atlas Iron is an independent Australian iron ore mining company based in the Northern Pilbara region of Western Australia.
Tripleplay’s solution will be used to provide television and entertainment services to mine workers and staff with 172 screens deployed across its site 130km south of Port Hedland, Western Australia.
Deployed upon Samsung SmartTVs, each television will receive a mix of free to air and PayTV, using Secure Media Encryption, with full Personal Video Recording (PVR) facilities, live Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) and access to video on demand (VOD) content.
